K-Swiss: Court style since 1966
Posted on 20 August 2016
Epocha Shoe Gallery has always been about timeless footwear and apparel. We focus on providing products that withstand the test of time in this fast paced fashion world. Finding those key staple pieces of footwear and apparel is what we provide for our customers. This is why we are proud to introduce K-Swiss Sportswear into Epocha Shoe Gallery!
Founded in 1966 by two Swiss brothers who moved to California with a dream to start a footwear company, K-Swiss became one of the most influential sneakers on the tennis court by applying an all leather upper on a classic tennis shoe silhouette. Other similar models, like the Adidas Stan Smith or the Puma Match, were traditionally all made of canvas. This completely changed the footwear game and the rest of the brands followed their influence. The country club immediately adopted the shoe as an on-court and off-court fashion statement.
The K-Swiss Classic VN later reemerged as a style icon in 90s "Prep" fashion. 90s fashionistas could be found sporting some Polo or Tommy Hilfiger, jumping out of a BMW, with a fresh clean pair of K-Swiss Classic VN.
Which brings us to today, 2016 and the K-Swiss Classic VN is still ever so fresh and stylish as it was in 1966 or 1999. Find it at Epocha Shoe Gallery in various styles and colorways now!
Classic vibes. Crispy swag. Timeless fashion.
